Description Creating beautiful handmade flowers can be tricky. To make the process as easy and as enjoyable as possible, I recommend you use the right tools and supplies for the job. Thick tacky glue for flower making is perfect for assembling multipetal flowers like sunflowers, roses, poppies and peonies. You can order yours from my shop here. ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ With summer in full swing it is high time we created another seasonal flower. For the month of July I have chosen the unusual but stunning Lotus Flower. Thanks to the special template for the petals, this flower can be made from both leather or heavy fabric with minimum (if any!) tools. July live demo on HANDMADE LOTUS FLOWER is taking place on Tuesday, 30th July 2024 at 4 pm London time. This tropical beauty features a realistic looking centre created from scratch, liy pad style leaves and stunning petals. The demonstration will include making lotus style stamens from scratch. Playing with the size of the templates you will be able to assemble either a brooch with lotus or a more impressive in size headpiece. This demonstration is suitable for students of any level, however previous experience in flower making will be helpful. A number of flower shaping tools are going to be used to achieve the necessary 3D shaping on some flower parts, however you wil be able to make your lotus without any specialst tools, in case you have not got them. The demonstration will include making new style of petals as well as leaves, creating the centre and stamens from scratch, tips on arranging your lotuses into wearable pieces and more. At the end of the talk Svetlana will answer your burning questions, if there are any left. *CRI is a measure of a light source’s ability to show object colors “realistically” or “naturally” compared to daylight, which has a CRI of 100 and represents the maximum value.
The beam angles for the Sea Dragon lights are shown as the true, tested “in-air” (above water) beam angle. Underwater, due to light refraction, the angle tightens to approximately 33% less.
Avoid using this Sea Dragon light above water for prolonged periods of time
The light is designed for underwater use and water is needed to displace heat. The metal light head at full power will reach temperature of about 140F (60C) degrees within a few minutes, which may cause burning if touched. A thermal sensor will automatically dim the light if internal temperatures reaches 150F (65C) degrees. Immediately turn off light if any parts of the light become hot to the touch.
