The 36 Road Disc SL wheels deliver a balanced ride feel and confident handling, resulting in a lightweight performance wheelset that weighs just 1130g, making it an exceptionally light disc brake carbon wheelset built for everyday road riding. This rim features a hooked rim bed because it is designed for road/allroad use. With the higher pressures used for those tires having a hooked rim more securely holds the tire in place in the event of hitting a pothole or extreme forces of cornering and sprinting. Rim architecture The rim’s strength comes from shape, not just material. Spoke bed structure, bead walls, and local reinforcement are designed to handle tension and real-world hits. We use multiple tension cycles, stress relief, and final balance checks. Your wheels will remain running true. Validation Impact testing, fatigue testing, tire pressure testing. . . over and over again. Plus real riding on rough pavement/real gravel — because spreadsheets don’t win races.
