Just received my dress in the mail. I was on edge about ordering from British Retro as I have ordered from the UK before (I’m from Canada) and have messed up on the sizing. But I bit the bullet and ordered one dress to see what the fit would be like. I very carefully checked the size chart and ordered a size 10. It fits absolutely perfectly! My only complaint is that the sleeves are about an inch too short, but I’m also a tall, long legged and long armed girl, so I’m used to sleeves being a tad on the short side and I can easily make it work. The shoulders fit spot on. I have fairly broad shoulders compared to my waist so often if the waist fits, the shoulders are too narrow, but this dress is spot on. As it is a polyester fabric, the shoulders and back are a little binding when lifting my arms so this will be a Sunday dress only! I’m 5ft 10in and the skirt hits about an inch below my knees, so if any tall girls are looking for dresses that are below the knee, shop here! I will definitely order more dresses from here! I finally found a shop that has retro dresses for a good price and they fit me!!! So excited!!!!!!!!
