Description It’s spring and it’s high time we revisited the beautiful IRIS FLOWERS. Deeply rooted in the ancient Greek mythology and the French monarchy, the iris is often associated with royalty. With its unusual flower shape and a great colour scheme (including blue which is rare in flowers!) Iris deserves some of our attention this season. Although there is already a Silk Iris Tutorial in my library (check it out here), this time we are going to focus on a sleek Dutch iris type of flower (no beard). Both fabric and leather versions of the iris flower will be discussed during the demonstration. This demonstration is suitable for students of any level, minimum tools required (no tool option will be shown as well). At the end of the talk Svetlana will answer your burning questions, if there are any left.
