Description Linen is one of my favourite fabrics for making flowers. Contrary to popular belief, linen fabric is not heavy and can lend itself well to the most delicate flowers, offering texture and natural charm. Natural tones of undyed linen fabrics work well with summer straw hats and headpieces. Linen fabrics can also be dyed to achieve further diversity in floral designs. It’s time we had a closer look at linen fabrics and flowers made using these fabrics, that’s why this month’s demonstration is going to be devoted to the rugged beauty of linen flowers. We will discuss what linen fabrics are suitable for which flowers, how to dye and shape linen petals and leaves and talk how to adapt fabric and leather tutorials to be used with linen. As always during live online demos you will learn how to make a new flower in this beautiful natural fabric.
